Imagine waking up to see planes in the air, darkened skies, and broken-down buildings around the country you loved and cared for. Well, this is what young children go through every day during this horrible war.
Unfortunately, more than 10,000 children passed away by Israeli airstrikes and ground operations in Gaza. Children in Gaza have to survive violence and endure the horrors of the war, including injuries, burns, diseases, medical care, and losing parents or many more loved ones. Approximately, 1,000 children have lost one or both legs, some had to get them amputated for how bad their legs were. Lana is an 11-year-old girl in Rafah in the south of Gaza. She talked about how badly the war affected them. This is the cruel and unreal experience children have to face during his drenching war.
