Haunted Huntingtown: ROTC’s Halloween Attraction!

Elizabeth Polo

It’s that time of year folks! Carving pumpkins, spiced pumpkin lattes, and for all of you adrenaline junkies out there, haunted houses! Unfortunately, many of those spooky haunted houses like Fright Fest are out of our way… so instead of searching for a scare, Huntingtown’s ROTC unit will bring it to you!

Walk through the dark, moonlit forest trails as cadets lurk in the dark… preparing to pounce at any unsuspecting moment you have! Your worst fears will come to life!

The annual Haunted Trail will take place this year on October 28th, 30th, and 31st. Tickets can be purchased in the North Parking lot of Huntingtown High School, towards the back of the parking lot (look for the tent). Admissions will be $10 for adults and $5 for children twelve and under. The Haunted Trail will run from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM. You’ll be sure to scream with delight (and possibly horror!) Although there is an option for a much less scary experience for kids, or adults who aren’t too keen on being frightened that badly!

Since the Haunted Trail is being run on Halloween night as well, we will be attempting to arrange a Trunk-or-Treat event for those people who want to combine those two experiences! We hope to see you there!
