Summer is almost here! A lot of people say that summer is their favorite season. The warm weather, no school, overall relaxation, but different kids like to do different activities during summer. That is what this article is going to be about.


Many people agree that water is the best way to stay refreshed and hydrated, but the pool and beach are also great ways to refresh. The people I interviewed thought that the pool and beach were in fact the best ways to stay refreshed. Not only can they  be refreshing to your body, but refreshing to your mind as well. During summer, it is important to take the time to enjoy where you don’t have school, so for that, you need to relax.

One person that I interviewed said they like the beach, “because the water is refreshing.”

Common Activities

Playing sports with friends and going to the beach and playing video games – those are all very different activities, but still lots of people find them very entertaining. The people that I interviewed agreed that these are simple and fun activities that you can do. Working out is also a common activity and this is what one interviewee had to say about it: “It is healthy, both mentally and physically.” There are multiple common activities that you can do during summer.


There are so many different things that you can do during summer. One of my interviewees said this about being bored during summer. “You can run outside or do non-equipment activities if you don’t have access to anything. You can also use your imagination.” Both of the interviewees felt as if there is no reason that you should get bored during summer. They both also agreed that you must continuously do something productive for your mental health and physical health.


In conclusion, kids should not be getting bored during summer. Summer is the hottest season of the year, kids are out of school, there is an endless amount of things that you can do. Whether you want to do something relaxing or something that requires physical exercise, there are just way too many things that you can do. Now go enjoy your summer!!!
